Challenge

Tax advisors at international firms spend hours on intake. A globally mobile professional arrives with activity across three jurisdictions, unclear residency status, and no idea what they owe where. Before any paid work begins, an advisor has to manually work through all of it just to qualify the lead.

That process doesn't scale. Every new client requires the same advisor hours. Growth meant hiring.

Key challenges:

  • Manual intake: advisors spent hours qualifying each lead before any paid work
  • Multi-jurisdiction complexity: activity across several countries with unclear residency status
  • No self-serve path: clients couldn't understand liabilities without an advisor
  • Doesn't scale: every new client required the same advisor hours
  • Growth meant hiring — no operational leverage

Solution

We built an automated tax assessment platform that processes complex multi-jurisdiction profiles, simulates liabilities, and delivers structured jurisdiction recommendations — before a human advisor is involved. A team of 2 shipped in 1 month: 1 full-stack engineer and 1 PM + QA.
